Sarah and Rachel both launched their careers as actors in Los Angeles. They first crossed paths in an acting class, and it was loathing at first sight. After acting together, their hatred blossomed into an unexpected sisterhood. Now, the filmmaking duo's creative work is fueled by their shared ambition, similar sensibilities and love for storytelling.
Rachel
Rachel grew up as an actor in LA, landing roles on TV shows and films as a young adult. Acting allowed her to express herself honestly in a chaotic and often disconnected environment. After years of acting, she decided to put her efforts behind the camera as well. In collaborating with independent and Academy Award-nominated directors during her years acting, she was able to absorb the craft and put it into her own work. Now, her goal is to tell stories that explore the unseen shadows of family, relationships and the complexities of being human.
Sarah
Sarah’s journey into film started on the stage, where she discovered her true voice and learned to embrace who she really is through acting. Eventually, she decided to take that energy and bring it to the screen. With her Midwest roots always keeping her grounded, she’s since worked on everything from indie features to commercials, taking on nearly every role on set, both in front of and behind the camera. Now, Sarah is driven to craft authentic, grounded stories that resonate with audiences, while seamlessly incorporating a touch of humor when the moment calls for it. She believes in the power of storytelling to connect on a deeper level, blending sincerity with lightheartedness to create narratives that are both meaningful and entertaining.
